Straight from the mind of executive producer, writer, director, editor and star Louis C.K., 'Louie' follows the journey of a divorced single dad working a comedy career and slogging through what he recently called 'boilerplate misery.' As in the real world, life is hard, fantastic kids can be annoying and sex isn't always sexy. There's no flash, no laugh track and no segues, but there are entertaining stand-up segments, cool cameos and plenty of laughs. The unique comedy wins over more snobs every season and landed three 2012 Emmys nominations.
