Bede Acrostar - Octopussy (1983)

The Bede BD-5J Acrostar is a single-seat light, fast acrojet and this is one of around 3,000 examples of the several different variants manufactured. The brainchild of aircraft designer Jim Bede, the BD-5 (the 5J's predecessor) first flew in 1971 after 10 years of research and development.

Fitted with a small, powerful Sermel TRS-18-046 turbojet with 250 pounds of thrust it can reach 300mph. Bond carries his in a converted horsebox towed behind a Classic convertible Range Rover.
