After Bond is knocked unconscious in this Roller the vehicle is pushed into a lake where it sinks. Bond escapes by breathing air from the vehicle's tyres. The car in the film, a 1962 model, was owned by producer Cubby Broccoli, hence the numberplate CUB1, although a different car actually went in the lake. The Cloud II had a 6.2 litre V8 and was built between 1959 and 1966.
