Alec Trevelyan (Goldeneye: 1995)

The mighty Sean Bean (right) has played a whole host of villainous characters, and is noted for dying in pretty much every movie he's been in. So it was only right that Bean should get his turn to play Bond's nemesis, which he did to great effect as Alec Trevelyan, a former agent and friend of Bond who goes definitively to the bad.

Alan Cumming (left) also stars as Boris Grishenko, a computer programmer working for Trevelyan.
