Brooke Shields and Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise alienated Brooke Shields (and many others) when he attacked her on the Today show in 2005 for using medication to treat her post-natal depression after the birth of her daughter. Tom spouted Scientology wisdom that "vitamins and exercise" would fix the problem, rather than anti-depressants.

The actress hit back, saying, "I'm going to take a wild guess and say that Mr Cruise has never suffered from postpartum depression". Rumours has it that Tom's then-wife Katie Holmes made him apologise, and they've since kissed and made up.
