Kirstie Alley reveals Patrick Swayze affair

Kirstie Alley's bombshell revelation that she had a secret emotional affair with the late Patrick Swayze in 1985 has caused quite a stir.
The former Cheers star admitted during a recent interview that she and Swayze began an intense relationship while filming the TV mini-series North and South.
"Both of us were married," Alley said, before clarifying that she and the actor, who died of pancreatic cancer in 2009, did not technically "have an affair."
"But again, I think what we did was worse," she added. "Because I think when you fall in love with someone when you're married, you jeopardise your own marriage and their marriage. It's doubly bad."
Alley was married to second husband Parker Stevenson at the time, but the couple divorced in 1997.
Swayze was married to Lisa Niemi, who is still close friends with Alley and even asked to her speak at his funeral.
