Country singer Shania Twain was devastated when she discovered her music producer husband Robert "Mutt" Lange was having an affair with her best friend Mary-Anne Thiebaud. She has since admitted that she begged her friend to stay away from him, but Lange and Thiebaud, who was also married, left their spouses to be together.
