The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting her first baby

The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting her first child, it has been confirmed.

St James's Palace made the announcement on 3 December and revealed that Prince William and members of the royal family were delighted.

A spokesperson said the duchess had been admitted to a London hospital with acute morning sickness and was expected to stay for several days.

We're so excited for Kate and Wills - we can't wait to meet the latest member of the royal family!
