Veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha threw a bash for doctors of Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital at JW Marriott, Mumbai.

The 66-year-old was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on July 2 after he complained of breathlessness following some paint work at his residence.

During investigation, blockages were discovered in his coronary arteries and based on medical advice, he underwent surgery.

Amitabh Bachchan, who was present at the event, posted on his Facebook page: "A quick ride to JW and to wish Shatrughan Sinha after his recent heart surgery ... the dinner to honor the doctors who took care of him, many old faces."
