Father and Son movies can be hit and miss. For every Wall Street (Martin and Charlie Sheen), there’s an It Runs in the Family (Kirk, Michael and Cameron Douglas). That said, Will and Jaden Smith scored a reasonable hit with The Pursuit of Happyness, so they’ll be hoping for more success with the M. Night Shyamalan directed After Earth, which sees the pair crash land on deserted planet earth, set long into the future.
