Side Effects

Steven Soderbergh, the man behind Ocean’s Eleven, Erin Brockovich and Contagion, directs psychological thriller Side Effects. Featuring Jude Law, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Rooney Mara and Channing Tatum, the film follows a young woman’s (Mara) ordeal as she uses medicine prescribed by her therapist (Law) to deal with her anxiety over the release of her husband (Tatum) from prison.

Along with the excellent cast and intriguing plot, there’s another reason not to miss this one; it’s rumoured to be Hollywood big shot Soderbergh’s final effort before he enters semi-retirement and focuses on his other passion - painting.
