Charli XCX (aka Charlotte Aitchison) started her own band in the playground of her primary school at the age of eight. So fame has taken a little while to arrive, but it looks set to creep up on the British singer-songwriter in 2013. She's already provided tracks for movies and spent last summer touring with Coldplay, and looks set to truly arrive with the release of her debut album in February.
