What non K-Pop fans think:

An adverb that is used to describe in a high degree, extremely or exceedingly. Pronounced as ver-ee.

In K-Pop context:

An extremely difficult word for Koreans to pronounce because of the 'v' sound. Korean entertainers who attempt to thank their foreign fans usually mispronounce 'very' as 'bery'. So if you are new to K-Pop, do not laugh when your idols thank you 'bery' much!
