Going into 1994, it didn'€™t really seem as if there was a market for an indie comedy film but the film's success at Sundance that year proved that maybe there was one slot available. Following the lives of two store clerks as they make it through the working day, Clerks built up audience support at the festival and propelled itself to fame.
