The comedic pairing of Will Ferrell and Kristin Wiig came to the stage to present the award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture Comedy or Musical. Since neither have watched any of the five films up nominations, they wing it with improvised descriptions of the plot. Salmon Fishing in the Yemen: "And the salmon all come out and Emily Blunt says 'Turn back!'" Best Exotic Marigold Hotel: "And Judy Dench on the tractor with all the marigolds and she says 'Turn back!'" Quartet: "And nobody knows what a quartet is..." You get the idea. The award ultimately went to the new kid in the category, Jennifer Lawrence, for Silver Linings Playbook, who thanked Harvey Weinstein (take a shot) for killing whoever he had to kill to get her up there.
