Chitrangada Singh turns 37

Often compared to legendary actress Smita Patil, Chitrangada Singh was introduced to the Hindi film industry by director Sudhir Mishra in his critically acclaimed film 'Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi'.

Post her unconventional two-film stint in Bollywood, the model-turned-actress went missing amidst reports of her marriage with golfer Jyoti Randhawa being on the rocks.

Three years on, she made a strong comeback with 'Sorry Bhai!!' in 2005 and made an immutable space for herself in the industry. Soon after, Chitrangada forayed into commercial cinema with 'Yeh Saali Zindagi', 'Desi Boyz', 'Inkaar' and 'I, Me Aur Main' .
