Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan and other artists like Sonu Nigam and Shaan sang live for peace at the 'Global sounds of peace' organised by musician Aadesh Srivastava in Mumbai.

"I want to thank the public for attending the concert. Normally the concerts related to films have a different ambience and music. I didn't know that they like such music too. It was a little classical," Bachchan said after the concert.

Talking about performing live, Bachchan said, "Performing live is always tough. It involves a lot of hard work. Here there is live music and audience which makes it tough."

The B-town celebrities who walked the white carpet included Ayushmann Khurrana, Udit Narayan, Kunal Kapoor, Kavita Seth, R. Balki and Ashutosh Gowarikar, among others.

Bachchan sung "Raag de Basanti" and his performance was clearly awaited by all the celebrities.

Actor Ayushmann, who seemed excited about Big B's performance, said: "Amit ji is like a living legend. He is such a great performer and even if he just stands on the stage, it is a big thing."

Bachchan along with Aadesh Srivastava gave a mesmerising performance.

"It feels very nice to have such programmes for peace. Amitabh Bachchan, Aadesh Srivastava and so many other artists have come together for this cause. I am so happy that the message of love and peace is being spread," said singer Udit Narayan.

"It is tough to get so many musicians together. The cause of peace is good and the world is in need of it," said actor Kunal Kapoor.
