With as many as 10 remakes in the offing and some already being made, south Indian movies will again provide fodder for Bollywood filmmakers this year.

'Okkadu' and 'Kandireega' are the most recently announced southern remakes in Bollywood. In the last two years, six southern remakes - 'Bodyguard', 'Ready', 'Singham', 'Housefull 2', 'Rowdy Rathore' and 'Son of Sardaar' - have raked in over Rs.600 crore at the box-office, fuelling the trend.
