Now for the country portion of the show, which is really a country sandwich with a crunchy hip-hop filling. After a performance from Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley, our viewing was interrupted by a brief rap from Miguel and Whiz Khalifa, before the award for Best Country Solo Performance was handed out to Carrie Underwood for "Blown Away." Faith Hill and Tim McGraw continued to wave that Nashville flag as they presented the award for Song of the Year to fun. for "We Are Young." True fact: Jack Antonoff (the fun. guy in the glasses) once dated Scarlett Johansson and is now shacked up with Lena Dunham. Clearly he has a type.
