Bruce Willis by the numbers
The Sixth Sense

In the most easily spoiled film of the '90s, Bruce Willis plays a child psychologist who is shot, but continues to work without ever receiving a paycheck. Things go from bad to worse when his marriage begins to disintegrate and he becomes oblivious to the fact that the only person he talks to is a social misfit who sees "dead people." Maybe all these strange things are happening because Bruce is living in an M. Night Shyamalan movie; spring-loaded with the ultimate twist ending that we won't reveal, though it's more surprising than Hayley Joel Osment's depressing descent into irrelevance.
