Oscars 2013: What we want to see - An irreverent host

With Family Guy creator Seth McFarlane on hosting duties this one is a certainty. When he announced the nominations he lost no time making digs at Hollywood heavyweights like Harvey Weinstein. It’s a risky move for the Oscars, who have tended to go for slightly more mainstream comedians like Billy Crystal – this could be the equivalent of the Golden Globes hiring Ricky Gervais.
