'Gundello Godari' will be released on March 8

'Gundello Godari' is set against the backdrop of 1986 Godavari floods.

"Even though the story is based on true events, the romantic angle was fictionalised. The film revolves around four key characters and narrates what happened to them during this catastrophe," said actor-producer Lakshmi Manchu.

Directed by Kumar Nagendra, the movie stars Aadhi Pinisetty, Lakshmi Manchu, Sundeep Kishan and Tapsee Pannu.
