Jane Lynch, better known as Glee's domineering Sue Sylvester, will not only be hosting this year's Primetime Emmys, but will also be hoping to bring home the Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series award for a second year running. We believe Jane might well be in luck, leaving resurgent TV veteran Betty White, who's nominated for her role as Elka Ostrosky as Hot in Cleveland, the nominee most likely to be disappointed to miss out. Jane Krakowski, who has enjoyed one of her finest seasons as Jenna Maroney in 30 Rock, can be considered a dark horse, while the fact that Modern Family is dominating almost all the comedy nominations this year means Sofia Vergara and Julie Bowen shouldn't be ruled out either. Saturday Night Live's Kristen Wiig makes up the nominations.

Our prediction: Jane Lynch
