Jyothika Sadanah Saravanan, born in Punjab, made her debut in films with 'Doli Saja Ke Rakhna' (1998), opposite Akshaye Khanna. The young starlet then followed her sister Nagma to become one of the leading actresses down South, and remained a youth icon till she took a bow from acting following her marriage to Suriya Saravanan.
