With the new 3D version of Jurassic Park, Steven Spielberg brings his spectacularly successful 1993 film to a new generation of moviegoers. While its use of computer-animated imagery was groundbreaking when the film was released 20 years ago, modern 3D technology takes the story of cloned dinosaurs that get out of control to a whole new level. Spielberg made many other films that scream for a 3D conversion. We're not talking about The Colour Purple or Schindler's List, of course, but let's take a look at the range of Spielberg classics we think are perfect candidates for a modern overhaul.

Jurassic Park 3D is out worldwide on 5 April.
