The Sandy Hook tragedy didn't just change Jim Carrey's attitude towards his movie appearances. Django Unchained star Jamie Foxx, noted for his cowboy killing spree in Quentin Tarantino's bloodbath, was quick to condemn the film's violence in the wake of the Newtown shootings. "We cannot turn our back and say that violence in films or anything that we do doesn't have a sort of influence. It does," Foxx said in an interview with the Associated Press.
