1: The White Stripes - Elephant
According to Mojo readers, the most influential album of the past twenty years is The White Stripes' Elephant, which was released in 2003. The record was the group's first chart topping album.
Phil Alexander, editor-in-chief of Mojo magazine commented: “A decade on from its release, Elephant has lost none of its charm or power. Building on the band’s three previous LPs, it delivered accessible and complex material in equal measure. The album helped spawn a raft of two-piece imitators, yet continues to stand alone.”
The Special Collector’s Issue of MOJO Magazine is on sale now.
