Rage Against the Machine are all about protesting for the greater good, but at the 2000 VMAs, bassist Tim Commerford's only problem was his band's loss to Limp Bizkit for the Best Rock Video category. When it came time to present Limp Bizkit with the Moonman, Commerford climbed the stage scaffolding and swung around, while yelling nasties at Fred Durst. He refused to come down -- even when Fred Durst yelled, "Stage dive, dude" -- and was eventually manhandled from the venue before spending the night in the slammer.
