Bill Murray is a notoriously prickly character, with more than one report of him not getting on with his co-stars. Richard Dreyfuss summed up his experience of working with Murray on What About Bob? to the A.V. Club this way: “Funny movie. Terribly unpleasant experience.” Murray has this to say to Entertainment Weekly about that: “I drove him nuts, and he encouraged me to drive him nuts.” Murray’s other best-known feud was with his Charlie’s Angels co-star Lucy Liu, a battle of wills which was apparently the reason behind Murray refusing to star in the sequel.
