Perhaps the quintessential road movie, you could pluck an entire syllabus of life lessons out of the silver screen icon that is Easy Rider. To paraphrase the movie’s poster: the film’s duo of chopper riding hippies - played by Hollywood greats Dennis Hopper and Peter Fonda – head off in search of America but can’t find it anywhere.

Instead they find hitchhikers, hippie communes, whorehouses, jail cells and most importantly themselves. After all the most important part of any journey is the voyage of self-discovery; or at least that’s what Hollywood would have you believe, although we think it’s the snacks personally.
