Watch out for road rage – Mad Max

Did someone cut you up at the last junction? Have they parked badly? Or, god forbid, opened their windows and blared distorted drum & bass out of their car’s substandard speakers? If the answer to any of these questions is yes then your only option is to follow Mel Gibson’s lead from Mad Max, the petrol-drenched dystopian thriller from Down Under, in which our hero exacts a horrible revenge on the gangsters who killed his wife and son.

Of course we don’t condone violence, that would be madness. Unless of course you find yourself confronted by a big-haired Tina Turner bellowing something about the makeshift rules of something called a Thunderdome, in which case it’s entirely acceptable.
