Arshad Warsi on Geeta Basra's dance, sensual scene with Minissha
Geeta Basra is making her comeback to the big screen with an item number 'Baap Ka Maal' and one man who has some really good words reserved for her moves is Arshad Warsi. For Geeta, the compliment holds all the more meaning since Arshad has a very strong background of being a choreographer himself and now that the two have shared screen space in the film and also matched steps with each other, the outcome is being looked forward to, especially at the single screens in the North Indian belt.
"Geeta has done a superb job in the song. She has done really well and has walked a thin rope in getting it right. Reason being that 'Baap Ka Maal' is a very wild song and she had to make sure that nothing looked overtly awkward or obscene on screen," says Arshad.
On his part, he too seems to be dancing away like there's no tomorrow and pretty much appears to be making up for the lost time when it comes to hitting the floors. "Yes, I am playing this completely uncouth, crazy man. Jab Geeta itna achcha dance kar rahi thi toh mujhe laga ki chalo hum log bhi thoda enjoy kar lain," smiles Arshad.
Meanwhile one also looks forward to the 'sizzling chemistry' that he shares with Minissha Lamba in the film.
"Arrey, we are not sizzling together or anything," says Arshad, "There is no smooching or anything happening in the scene. Minissha is a dear friend of mine; we have worked before. Yes, there is a fiery scene between us but there is no nudity. The whole attitude of performance is so dynamic and sensual. Minissha has never done anything like that before."
