Big B was overwhelmed seeing the fans going berserk. He got emotional seeing the fans shouting aloud, cheering for him and carrying his huge banners. But what
surprised the US media, who were there to cover the gala event, and Big B that it wasn't Leonardo, for whom the audiences were screaming with enthusiasm but
Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan.
An elated Amitabh Bachchan shared on his micro-blogging site after attending the premiere, "Back from TGG premiere and has to be said ..THE Ef WAS THE
MAIN ATTRACTION ..SIMPLY SUPERB ! American media, fans, security in shock Thank you my Ef, and thank you to those that cheered their lungs out !! US
media thought Leonardo had come, when noise went up ..
"The fans, the Ef that crowded the stands were absolutely fantastic .. Had it not been for you, no one would have even noticed me !! OK ! getting emotional about
the red carpet and seeing all the banners and the cheering from fans," he added.
Big B even expressed his gratitude towards the fans, who cheered for him on the streets of NYC. "Your sincerity and love...awesome I really have no words to
express my gratitude to all of you that cheered in virtual world, and on the streets of NYC .. indebted !!"
Though Big B is back in town, he is still reeling with emotive presence of the frenzied fans and reactions that he received at GATSBY Premiere.
