Why is Arjun perplexed by Parineeti's call?
On Saturday afternoon Arjun Kapoor received a call from Parineeti Chopra on his cellphone. Believing that his ISHAQZAADE colleague must have given him a casual call, he picked up the phone, only to hear a scream of 'Happy Birthday' from the other end. Puzzled with the wishes, considering the fact that his birthday falls in the month of June, he told her about the same, only to be informed that it was exactly a year since they both turned one year old.
Reason being that ISHAQZAADE had released on the same day exactly a year ago.
"It was a pleasant call of course," smiles Arjun, "I have been busy with the promotion of AURANGZEB while she has been shooting HASEE TOH PHASEE. It was good on her part to remember the first year anniversary of ISHAQZAADE. Yes, both us were pretty much born on that date and have turned one now. It is a special feeling of course, especially since AURANGZEB is arriving exactly a year later."
While he is excited about the prospects of the Yash Raj production which is indeed looking good, Arjun knows that even when major success comes his way, stardom won't change him as a person.
"Reason being that I have a strong foundation of my family which will ensure that main hamesha zameen par hi rahoonga," says Arjun who is actually flying high with GUNDAY and 2 STATES in the making and another English film with Deepika Padukone all set to begin, "Being a part of the film family, I have seen ups and downs very closely. Agar kal ko main udhne bhi laga toh I know that someone from my family or friends will cut me down to size."
