Pulkit Samrat: Farhan is one of the best actors around
The word is out - BHAAG MILKHA BHAAG is expected to be one of the best things to have happened to Indian cinema this year. While the public verdict would be out in 24 hours from now, those from within the industry vouch for the fact that Farhan Akhtar has done it again, this time as an actor.
One of the first persons to acknowledge Farhan for his multi-talented personality is Pulkit Samrat, the leading man of his recent production FUKREY.
"When you sit in front of him, it is but natural that you are in awe and get inspired from him. And why not, he is one of the most talented guys around," says Pulkit, "In fact I would rate him as one of the best actors around as well. He has proven his mettle as a director and even as an actor, he is just superb."
While this is pretty much in unison to the kind of feedback that has started coming in around Farhan's realistic portrayal of Milkha Singh, Pulkit adds, "Just look at him. He directs, acts, sings and then plays a guitar as well. Moreover, he has such an out of the box thinking as a film personality. I guess it is not a conscious effort from his side; it is just inherent."
No wonder, he is all admiration. "When you are with him, especially during the sitting of a film, it is exciting but then also nerve wrecking. All you want to do is learn from him and pick up all the best qualities that you can grasp."
Ahem ahem, do we also see another film in the making between Farhan and Pulkit? Well, let's wait and watch. Meanwhile as far as watching Farhan on the big screen is concerned, the wait would be over pretty soon.
