Is Pallavi Sharda overshadowed by the Kapoors?
Abhinav Kashyap's BESHARAM is a fortnight away from its release on October 2, 2013. The audience is expecting some aggressive promotions for the movie. The film sees Ranbir Kapoor sharing screen space for the first time with his parents Rishi and Neetu Kapoor and stars opposite debutante Pallavi Sharda in the lead.
While Ranbir Kapoor is leaving no stone unturned to promote BESHARAM, it is surprising to see the lead actress of the movie, newcomer Pallavi Sharda missing from the action, including the first media launch of the movie. Ranbir Kapoor has always been spotted either alone or with parents Rishi and Neetu Kapoor promoting the movie on on-ground events or for that matter on reality shows.
Director Abhinav Kashyap's last release, blockbuster DABANGG, saw the launch of the then newcomer Sonakshi Sinha, who is today considered the most successful actress. Keeping this in mind, one wonders whether it is the heavyweight Kapoors in BESHARAM who are overshadowing the newbie Pallavi Sharda.
Whatever be the reason, we just hope, the audience gets to see the new babe in the tinsel town Pallavi Sharda joining the Kapoor brigade for the movie's promotion giving it the much needed buzz!
