NFDC India's THE GOOD ROAD selected as India's official Oscar entry

According to latest reports, National Film Development Corporation's National Award Winning Gujarati film THE GOOD ROAD has been selected as India's official Oscar entry for the Best Foreign language film.

Directed by debut feature filmmaker Gyan Correa, THE GOOD ROAD is a contemporary Gujarati tale based on the journey of three sets of people travelling on a highway, cutting through the Banni, bordering the Rann.

The other contenders for the nomination for Best Foreign Language film were BHAAG MILKHA BHAAG, MADRAS CAFE, ENGLISH VINGLISH, KAI PO CHE! and the recent release THE LUNCH BOX.
