Sonakshi Sinha's juggling act between her RAJA and RAJKUMAR!
Now this is as uncanny as it gets. Not just is Sonakshi Sinha all set to close 2013 with two back to back films, she also has them belonging to the same genre with almost identical titles as well. While they are inherently 'masala' in nature, the films also see her fluctuating between a RAJA and a RAJKUMAR.
"And rightly so," quips an observer, "Saif Ali Khan is every bit a RAJA in real life too due to his 'Nawab' status and hence BULLETT RAJA is just apt for the duo. On the other hand Shahid Kapoor continues to bear the status of Bollywood's RAJKUMAR while making his way up amongst the bigwigs. R... RAJKUMAR couldn't have been more perfectly titled."
For Sonakshi, it could almost be surreal to find attention from a RAJA as well as RAJKUMAR, what with promotion of both films starting within 24 hours of each other a couple of days back and their theatrical release within a mere one week gap between them.
"It is going to be one crazy outing all over again for Sonakshi though it is not really new for her," says a source, "She has been enjoying some prolific times in Bollywood and a few months back she had ONCE UPON AY TIME IN MUMBAAI DOBAARA following LOOTERA. Now she would be back to the grind with BULLETT RAJA and R... RAJKUMAR."
One wonders though if it would be 'too much in two weeks' for Sonakshi, considering the fact her producers, Rahul Mittra-Nitin Tej Ahuja-Tigmanshu Dhulia (for BULLETT RAJA) and Sunil Lulla-Viki Rajani, have some elaborate plans for their films which release on 29th November and 6th December respectively.
In this battle of RAJA and RAJKUMAR, it would be Queen Bee Sonakshi who would have to do the juggling act.
