After Aamir Khan, Ranveer Singh to stay in Delhi for KILL DIL
Delhi continues to be a favourite destination for the B-Town to shoot its films, what with Aamir Khan's P.K. being filmed in the city. The latest to join the bandwagon is Aditya Chopra's KILL DIL which would be prominently set in the Capital.
Confirms our source, "Yes, the story of KILL DIL is set in Delhi and hence for more than a month, the city would be home for the entire cast and crew. Ranveer Singh along with Ali Zafar, Parineeti Chopra and Govinda would be stationed there for a long schedule that kick-starts next month."
Shaad Ali Sahgal would be bringing KILL DIL on floors soon after Ranveer is through with the release of RAM-LEELA, which happens on 15th November. He too is all excited to call the shots more than half a decade after his last release JHOOM BARABAR JHOOM (2007).
Meanwhile Ranveer is raring to go, especially after he lost some previous weeks due to a strong attack of dengue. Now that he is back in the thick of things, he is going all out for the promotion of RAM-LEELA and would soon after, embark on the shooting schedule of KILL DIL. Since he has quite a few friends and family members in Delhi, he plans to catch up with them once in the city.
"Yes, it is going to be a great winter indeed," smiles Ranveer who had shot for BAND BAAJA BARAAT as well as LADIES V/S RICKY BAHL in Delhi. While both these films were romcoms, Ranveer isn't putting his finger on anything particular when comes to KILL DIL.
He says, "I can't really specify a genre here since it is a mixed bag. It has got all the elements of a classic Hindi film. So you would see romance, action, drama, music - everything in there. Yes, comedy would be there throughout though. I am looking forward to the shoot."
One can well expect that, considering the fact that it is nothing short of homecoming for Ranveer who has gone through Bengal (LOOTERA), Bihar (GUNDAY) and Gujarat (RAM-LEELA) terrain for his other recent films.
