Hrithik Roshan: KRRISH 3 is first Indian film with special effects done by Indian technicians
While it is a habit to have foreign technicians involved whenever a sci-fi extravaganza is being made in Bollywood, Hrithik Roshan's KRRISH 3, which is technically a superlative venture, has the Indian touch! The Rakesh Roshan directed film, which looks nothing less than a Hollywood flick, has interestingly special effects and VFX shots done by the Indian crew.
"KRRISH 3 is our first Indian film with heavy VFX shots done purely by Indian hands. KRRISH 3 is our first home grown high budget VFX superhero film and there is absolutely zero involvement of the foreign technicians. Unlike other sci-fi Bollywood films, every single shot of KRRISH 3 has been worked upon by Indian crew and I feel immensely proud about it. Though we always had pool of talent, what was lacking was a right opportunity given to them to prove their caliber. Somebody who could show faith in them that they can do it. Thanks to my father Rakesh Roshan who took the decision of giving the opportunity to Indians and have faith in our own artists," says Hrithik Roshan.
However, Rakesh Roshan shot the special effects way before with the technicians considering they'll take enough time because of their inexperience and less exposure, "When my father started the shooting of the film he began with all the special effects first. Because, despite the fact we have ample talent, our artists are not yet prepared & trained as they don't have enough exposure and experience as compared to the world market. Considering that they might need bit more time, my father shot everything first and gave them almost one and a half years for the special effects."
Hrithik is super confident about KRRISH 3 and eagerly looking forward to some appreciation coming for the technicalities when the film releases, He says "As the response to the promos has been overwhelming, I feel we are on the right track and have hit the right chord and I just can't wait for D Day, when our artists will be appreciated for their tremendous work."
Also starring Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, Vivek Oberoi, KRRISH 3 is all set to release on November 1, 2013.
