Aditya Narayan: Dad Udit Narayan was to sing RAM-LEELA's 'Tattad Tattad' song
While RAM-LEELA's first chartbusting song Tattad Tattad has already registered great views on the internet, the audiences have gone a step further and appreciated the magical voice behind the song i.e. Aditya Narayan, son of popular singer of 90s Udit Narayan.
"It feels so good. People have so much of love for me. Because it is out and out Ranveer Singh's song and he has worked so hard to look good, he's made such a great body and he has danced so well. But in spite of all that, people have tried to find out who is the singer. This means that I have done my job well," says an overwhelmed Aditya. He further adds, "For a Ranveer Singh and Aditya Narayan who are relatively new in the industry, to have so many hits and views and for people to say so many nice things is really a big deal."
Ask Aditya how he managed to sing for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus RAM-LEELA, and 26-year-old singer reveals, " 'Tattad Tattad' was supposed to be sung by my father (Udit Narayan). Sanjay Sir had his voice in mind but when I sang the scratch version, he found my voice fitting the mould. It is the scratch version that you are getting to hear in the sound track."
And what does he have to say about the audiences finding his voice similar to his father Udit Narayan? "Well, it is indeed a proud feeling when people say that my voice sounds similar to my dad. I'm very happy about it as far as everyone likes it!"
Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh starrer RAM-LEELA releases on November 15, 2013.
