RDB rappers: BULLETT RAJA's 'Tamanche Pe Disco' has a very massy feel

Surj (Surjeet,) Manj (Manjeet), Nindy and Raftaar from RDB band are on cloud nine. Their latest song form Fox Star Studios' BULLETT RAJA, 'Tamanche Pe Disco' is topping various charts and has become the latest party anthem.

Says Surj, "The song originates from our old banks. The talents of Raftaar really brought this song together. His lyrical content and our style of music made this song possible. We had this song even before we were approached for the film. The producers offered us this film called BULLETT RAJA starring Saif Ali Khan. It just started clicking in our heads that this song is ideal for this film. So this was one of the first songs we pitched out to the producers. And the producers straight away said 'Lock it' as they do here."

Adds Manj, "'Tamanche Pe Disco' has a very massy feel. We were excited to make the song because we always want to make something different. While recording the vocals, Nindy was singing for the first time in a UP accent. Raftar was her accent guide."

Speaking about Saif's reaction on the song, Surj says, "We got his reaction on the set. The first reaction from him was 'Great track, guys. I absolutely loved the song. The first time I heard it, it had to be in the film'. That helped us. Saif is a very clear-cut type of person. For him, if he likes something, he likes it. And if he doesn't like something, he doesn't like it. He showed us a lot of appreciation on the song."

Directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, BULLETT RAJA is scheduled to release on 29th November 2013.
