Kangana Ranaut: Everyone is liking the promo of QUEEN



In a well-designed and innovative campaign for her next film QUEEN, Kangana Ranaut is now asking audience to share with her tips around how to spend 'her first honeymoon' as a 'to be bride'. Not just that as it is quite apparent that the young woman has clearly worked on her accent and the natural manner in which she comes in front of a camera. With a no make-up look, there is ample indication of a realistic yet fun setup that QUEEN carries.

Something similar was tried in the first teaser of ENGLISH VINGLISH as well where Sridevi spoke to the camera while giving ample hint to audience about her inability to read and speak English fluently. Now for QUEEN, Kangana isn't shying away from sharing her apprehensions and ignorance about matters related to marriage and honeymoon, hence making for some cute interaction.

Says Kangana, "Everyone is liking the promo and I think that's because it's refreshing. It is a good start."

What is notable is the fact that Kangana had to appear as a regular girl in a home video shoot instead of coming across as a trained actor. Considering the fact that the film is directed by Vikas Behl (of CHILLAR PARTY fame) and has another natural actor - Raj Kumar Yadav - as the male lead, a realistic set up like this was pretty much on the anvil.

With the film clashing with Vidya Balan's SHAADI KE SIDE EFFECTS on 28th February, guess it would make for an interesting outing for audience who would witness a girl stepping into marriage and another woman realising its side effects.
