Sonam & Arjun Kapoor come together on big screen!
Nine months after RAANJHANAA, Sonam Kapoor is returning in a full-fledged leading lady role with BEWAKOOFIYAAN. The film's first look poster, which was kept under the wraps for all this while, has just been unveiled and by the look of things, it is a slice of life romantic comedy with a vintage old world charm to it.
The theatrical promo would be out soon, what with Yash Raj's next biggie GUNDAY hitting the screens on the Valentine's Day. It is almost certain that Sonam's BEWAKOOFIYAAN promo would arrive along with brother Arjun's GUNDAY in theatres. However, online it would arrive much sooner.
Since the film releases on 14th March, it would see a promotional campaign of a little over a month. No wonder, this would mark an eventful year for Sonam who has already wrapped up home production KHOOBSURAT and would soon be kick-starting the shoot of Arbaaz Khan's DOLLY KI DOLI.
Meanwhile, as per inside reports, both Ayushmann and Sonam have come up with a spirited act in this light hearted film which tells a love story in the time of recession. With Rishi Kapoor in a pivotal role, the film's promo is said to be quite arresting, as per those who have had a dekko of it.
Readers would remember that Nupur Asthana had made a decent debut with Yash Raj's MUJHSE FRAAANDSHIP KAROGE that had also marked the debut of Saqib Saleem along with other newcomers. That one was a relatively smaller film with a niche target audience of school and college youngsters. However with BEWAKOOFIYAAN, Nupur is said to have upped the scale as well as the target audience, hence aiming at reaching out to a much universal family audience.
We would know for sure once the promo is out in quick time.
