Saket Chaudhary: Farhan Akhtar and Vidya Balan are fearless!
With just a little over a fortnight remaining for the release of SHAADI KE SIDE EFFECTS, things are heating up for the film at just the right time. If the theatrical promo had sent all around positive vibes, the songs are catching up as well. Meanwhile, with Farhan Akhtar and Vidya Balan coming together for the first time ever, a loyal fan-base is already gearing up to catch what the two actors are bringing on screen.
"Farhan and Vidya not just represent a lot of acting talent, they also have a very charming persona on screen which makes them stand apart from the rest of their ilk," says Saket for whom it was a major win to bring the two actors on the same frame.
He continues, "I wanted two really good actors who also had a great persona to them which was pleasant and relatable. We had approached Vidya a little earlier and she had said yes instantly. Then Farhan came in after ZINDAGI NA MILEGI DOBARA and brought with him a distinct persona that sets him apart."
It is a known fact that in the film, Farhan and Vidya are playing parents to a newborn.
"At times you meet actors who have this preconceived notion about playing only set of character or not go beyond a certain age limit. However Farhan and Vidya are different. Neither of them is afraid to experiment. I am glad that two such fearless actors were on board for the film," smiles Saket.
Now one looks forward to what plays on screen once this Balaji Motion Pictures and Pritish Nandy Communications' production releases all over on 28th February.
