HUMSHAKALS: Comic caper stars go nuts over cuisine!
Actors working on extensive and long filming schedules, generally bond well with each other. For the star cast of HUMSHAKALS, greater bonds were forged over food and everyday served up a feast for them, turning it all out to be one big gastronomic treat!
As per insiders, the cast was in for a week of super dishes. It all kick-started with the Nawab: Saif Ali Khan who would get home-cooked that included items such as grilled chicken, vegetable & chicken salads, soups and many other healthy items. Saif made sure all his co-stars too followed the diet,' informs a source close to the team.
After Saif, it was Riteish Deshmukh who got yummy home-made food from his house, which consisted of all the Maharashtrain delicacies such as Aamti, Puran Poli, Kolhapuri fish to Shrikhand and that too in large portions, for all his co-stars on the sets!
Well! With the boys getting home-made fare from their houses, why would the leading ladies shy away? From then on, they too managed to follow suit on the culinary trail.
Tamannah would zoom in with great Sindhi cuisine and Esha Gupta would land up with sumptuous Punjabi food. All this went on for nearly a week's time and everyone had a lip-smacking time on the sets!!
HUMSHAKALS stars Saif Ali Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Ram Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Tamannaah and Esha Gupta, among others. Produced by Fox Star Studios and Pooja Entertainment, Humshakals is directed by Sajid Khan and is all set to release this June!!
