Why Saif Ali Khan can now take it easy?

It could well have been a case of too much, too soon for Saif Ali Khan. However pushing ahead of two of his films has ensured that now he has a breathing space between his films.

With Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan's PHANTOM going all the way to April next year and Saif Ali Khan and Sunil Lulla's HAPPY ENDING too moving ahead to September, Saif can now afford to relax a little. Otherwise he would have been from one set to another, and that too across countries, what with Sajid Khan and Vashu Bhagnani's HUMSHAKALS already keeping him occupied.

The initial plans were for HAPPY ENDING, HUMSHAKALS and PHANTOM to arrive in March, June and August respectively. This would have been unprecedented for Saif, who is otherwise choosy about films with his calendar not quite occupied in such a choc-o-block manner.

"Moreover, he is required to travel countries for these films," adds a source, "HAPPY ENDING has been shot in the US, HUMSHAKALS in Europe and Mauritius while PHANTOM is exploring countries around the globe. It would have been way too strenuous for him had these films actually come together. After all, last year too he was seen in three films - RACE 2, GO GOA GONE and BULLETT RAJA."

Thankfully for him, his three new films would now arrive across a span of 10 months. Meanwhile he would also be beginning shoot of his next with Prabhu Dheva, an action-entertainment affair, which would be releasing before the end of next year.
