Jacqueline Fernandez: I didn't have any conversations with Salman

Half a decade in the industry and three success (RACE 2, HOUSEFULL 2, MURDER 2) later, Jacqueline Fernandez could well count herself in the list of successful heroines that Bollywood can boast of today. Still, she was a bundle of nerves when it came to meeting Salman Khan on the first day of shooting for KICK.

"After I signed the movie, I didn't have any conversations with Salman. He was shooting for JAI HO while I was traveling for my shows and appearances. As a matter of fact I didn't meet him till the first day of the film's shoot. Really, it was terrible for me as I was very nervous since I hadn't seen him for a long time. I was clueless about how it would turn out on the sets," remembers Jacqueline.

As it turned out though, she found Salman absolutely approachable, what with the superstar making her comfortable in his presence. More than anything else, Jacqueline was happy with the piece of advice that Salman shared on the very first day of the film's shoot.

"Salman explained to me that this was a great opportunity and now it was up to me to work hard and make it count. He also added that he was happy to see me in and now wanted me to give my best. He was so nice in giving me a pep talk that it was with KICK that my time had finally come and I should go all out to make this chance work for me in the long run. He was right when he said that Sajid (Nadiadwala) was giving me a second chance in the industry. I agree that not many are so fortunate and I am one of those privileged ones," Jacqueline gets emotional here, "It has been an amazing journey to shoot with them."

We would like to see how well the advice has been followed when KICK releases all over on 25th July
