Why Farhan Akhtar reported two hours early on DIL DHADAKNE DO sets?

Farhan Akhtar used to start his day 2 hours early everyday while he was shooting for DIL DHADAKNE DO, reason being that he had multiple presence on the sets of DDD - as an actor, producer and also a dialogue writer.

While Ritesh Sidhwani is a hands on producer and was looking into all details, Farhan used to be available to ensure that all ends are met. He reported 2 hours before the call time to ensure everything is in check.

They had a hectic shooting schedule and were working against the clock and while they were travelling from one port to another they were running against time and had to ensure the shoot gets completed. Also the film has an eclectic cast and so there were various facets to be catered to. The DDD team also had to account for the weather because shooting on the deck during harsh sunlight would not be possible.

Thus, before the shoot started Ritesh took precautions for the cast and crew not getting sea sick and Farhan largely used to be present for a hygiene check and to ensure that everything is in place. He made it a routine to start his day before time and checked the nitty-gritties.

Spokesperson of the film confirmed the news, "While Ritesh was actively looking into all the production details, Farhan was always available for inputs and guidance. It was a hectic shooting schedule but everything went off smoothly."

For Farhan it was also reminiscent of shooting for ZINDAGI NA MILEGI DOBARA which was a road trip they shot for in Spain. The film won him applause from all quarters and is one of the cherished films with very high recall in the minds of the audiences.

DIL DHADAKNE DO is a film based on a dysfunctional family on a cruise liner and is slated to release in June 2015.
