What convinced Bipasha Basu to do CREATURE 3D?

A couple of years after RAAZ 3, Bipasha Basu and Vikram Bhatt are reuniting with CREATURE 3D. While the film departs from the genre of a quintessential horror flick and instead brings in the kind of stage, setting and treatment that is quite unique for a Bollywood thriller, Bipasha reminisces the time when she was contemplating what to do next with Vikram.

"In fact post RAAZ 3, Vikram offered me a typical horror film with a great story to boast of as well. I had to politely refuse that and told Vikram why I couldn't be tempted even by the best of the offers in this genre. Reason being that I was also working on AATMA around the same time and I couldn't have picked up yet another supernatural film," remembers Bipasha.

Vikram understood her viewpoint and left it on her to take the final call. While both went ahead with their other films, Vikram called up Bipasha once again a few months later with a new story, stage and setting.

"He popped in a germ of an idea and told me how he was looking at doing this first of a kind feature film that would have a 'creature' in there. When I asked him for details, he told me that the film's genre would be on the lines of ANACONDA and JURASSIC PARK. Since I am a big fan of these movies, there was no way I could have said no to CREATURE 3D. Yet again, Vikram was sweet enough to allow me take this decision independently and with a clear frame of mine. However, I had made up my mind, so here I am in CREATURE 3D, which is an altogether different experience not just for me but also audience at large," she says.

While once can certainly sense that it is a different story being told with 'CREATURE 3D', one waits to see this Bhushan Kumar film in its full splendor once it hits the screens on 12th September.
